The Bereavement Team at Sisk Memorial Baptist Church is a quiet but powerful ministry that meets families in one of life’s most difficult seasons—with compassion, care, and Christlike love. When someone in our church family passes away, this team steps in to serve a meal following the funeral, either at the church or delivered directly to the family’s home.
They also help deliver care packages, notes of encouragement, and practical support—reminding families they are not walking through grief alone.
This ministry may not always be seen, but it is deeply felt. It is one of the most tangible ways we can “bear one another’s burdens” and be the hands and feet of Jesus when words fall short. If you have a heart for caring for others, we’d love to have you join this meaningful team.

Serving in our Nursery and Preschool ministry is more than just childcare—it’s the chance to show the love of Jesus to our littlest ones during their earliest moments of church life. Volunteers care for babies through pre-K, providing a safe, nurturing environment while parents attend worship or Sunday school.

Whether it’s rocking a baby, reading a Bible story, or singing songs about Jesus, every moment matters. You’re not just watching children—you’re planting seeds of faith and helping young families feel supported and seen.

SCORE is our Sunday evening, sports-themed program for elementary-aged kids, packed with games, Bible stories, discipleship and tons of fun—all built around pointing kids to Jesus. It runs as part of our NextGen Nights, a weekly focus on pouring into the next generation of the church.
Volunteers help lead small groups, manage transitions, and create a safe, exciting space where kids feel loved and learn about Christ. It’s every Sunday from 5:00–7:00 PM, and we promise—you’ll have as much fun as the kids do!
As Kids on the Hill continues to grow with new families, so does our need for more helping hands and servant hearts. One night a week could help shape a child’s faith forever.

Every Sunday morning experience—from the first welcome slide to the final worship song—relies on a faithful group working behind the scenes. Our Audio/Visual Team is essential to making church happen with excellence and clarity.
This team handles everything from running the soundboard, managing the livestream, and displaying lyrics, to playing music pre-service and making sure all slides and media are ready to go. They create an environment where people can worship without distractions and where the Gospel can go beyond our walls.
No experience? No problem. Training is available, and we’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented people who are ready to learn and serve.
If you’re not into singing or being on stage, but still want to play a vital role in what happens on Sundays—this team is for you. Your hands on the buttons help bring the message of Jesus to life each week.
